Rob Pohls has been helping to shape California insurance law for more than 22 years. He has successfully litigated insurance cases in virtually every state and federal courthouse in California, earning a national reputation for his distinctive ability to achieve favorable outcomes in disputes that involve challenging facts and/or novel legal questions. His practice is focused on the defense of bad faith, ERISA and other complex forms of litigation involving life, health, disability and long term care insurance.
Rob is a former Chair of the ABA’s Health & Disability Insurance Law Committee and an active Member of DRI’s Life, Health & Disability Committee, the International Claim Association, and the Association of Life Insurance Counsel. He also is an Associate Member of the Association of California Life & Health Insurance Companies,as well as a Member of the Northern California Life Insurance Association |

Ken Perscheid started his legal career as an insurance defense litigator. He also has 15 years’ experience as in-house counsel for a publicly-traded company with over 80,000 employees. During that time, he handled the company’s employment and human resources issues, while managing litigation across the country.
Ken is a member of the Northern California Human Resources Association and also has earned a certificate as a Professional in Human Resources. Since joining Pohls & Associates, he has continued to handle employment litigation and human resources matters. He also handles insurance claims litigation, regulatory issues, and the defense of insurance agents against claims of misconduct. |

| Kimberly Sellers is a 2007 graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law who joined the firm in February of 2010. Her prior experience included the defense of ERISA litigation and personal injury, premises liability, and products liability cases in state and federal courts throughout the State of Texas. Kimberly’s practice now heavily emphasizes the defense of bad faith and ERISA litigation involving life, health and disability insurance claims in courts across the State of California. |
